Blogger: beaver --- Title: 26 Marathons in 26 days and she's 63!!! --- Posted: May 4th 2010, 10:08 pm

I'm feeling stiff and sore just from reading about the 63 year old grandmother who ran 26 marathons in 26 consecutive days to raise money for two hospices, one in Wales and the other in Oxford. It gets worse. She added a 27th as a kind of lap of honour. Her name is Rosie Swale Pope. Puts all you young ones (beaver excepted) to shame.

Waoh! I'm impressed. She looks gr8 too! At 38 years my senior she certainly puts me to shame! I go walking etc but run a marathon...erm...I take my car everywhere lol

Afraid you may have given too much away JBo.. A young lady? (you don't have to answer) stays at 21 for at least 20 years.

Yeah I'm only 25, although having MS for around 8 yrs now makes me feel about 85 @ times!!! Rosie Swale Pope could do another 26 marathons & donate some of the money to MS Society :-D
